The 2-1B Medical DroidThe 2-1B is a medical droid in use by the Rebel Alliance. It treated Luke Skywalker twice during "The Empire Stikes Back". It replaced Luke's hand after Darth Vader sliced it off during their duel on the Cloud City in Bespin. 2-1B continues to serve the Alliance aboard a Nebulon B frigate converted for medical duty. 2-1B is a humanoid droid with hands that are specialized for surgical manuvers. It's body consist of a light-blue dented metal covering and a transparent abdomen. Like other droids in it's class 2-1B has many specialized sensors and computers for detecting and healing illnesses. |
